START STOP BATTERY

4. AGM or EFB batteries: Many modern Start-Stop vehicles use Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM)
or Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) technologies, which are specifically engineered to
handle the demands of Start-Stop systems. AGM and EFB batteries can better handle the deep cycling and rapid recharging required by these systems.
In summary, while it is technically possible to use a standard lead-acid battery in a Start-Stop

while still better than traditional flooded lead-acid batteries, may not be as
environmentally friendly as AGM batteries.
